Chunyan Li, BM, MSc
Chunyan Li is a current doctoral student in the Department of Health Behavior at UNC Chapel Hill. She earned a bachelor of medicine (2015) and a master of science in social medicine (2017) from Peking University, China. Her research mainly focuses on eHealth-enabled intervention for HIV/STDs prevention and care, and sexual and reproductive health promotion among Chinese adolescents and young people. Chunyan has worked on multiple research projects that aim to understand unmet healthcare needs among men who have sex with men (MSM) at different stages of HIV infection from perspectives of different stakeholders in low- and middle-income settings. In 2019, She received the Community Engagement Fellowship award from the Carolina Center for Public Service to evaluate a community-based HIV prevention program for MSM in Tianjin, China.
